My daughter that lives in Des Moines, Iowa just snapped this and sent it to me from her phone. It is cold in Des Moines today, in the 40′s and she is one of those hearty Iowan’s that refuses to turn the furnace on even if it does get a little nippy in the house. She gets that from me, a chip off the old block. I used to try and make it to Dec. 1 before turning on the furnace when I lived there and the kids were in school.
They knew to dress warm and pray for December 1st.
WOW This it the Price of Gas In Des Moines Iowa
So we don’t have the same price of gas but we don’t have nearly as hard a time making it to December 1st to turn on the furnace.
